Preparation:

  • Allow the 3 Strip Oak flooring packs to acclimate at room temperature for at least 48 hours.
  • Make sure the subfloor is clean, flat (≤3mm over 1m), and dry.
  • Use a good quality underlay to provide better sound insulation and moisture protection.

Installation:

  • Begin installation from the left-hand side, keeping the tongue side facing the wall.
  • Maintain a 10mm expansion gap along walls and around fixed objects.
  • Lock planks using the click system at a 30-degree angle and tap lightly for short ends.
  • Stagger planks by at least 300mm to achieve a balanced look.
  • Complete the floor, remove spacers, and fit skirting boards.

Important Tips:

  • Install as a floating floor (no gluing to subfloor).
  • Avoid installation in high-moisture areas like bathrooms.
  • Ideal indoor conditions: 16–30°C and relative humidity of 30–70%.

Maintenance Instructions:

  • Sweep or vacuum with a soft attachment to remove loose dust.
  • Wipe spills promptly with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth.
  • Use a laminate-approved cleaner — avoid wet mopping or steam cleaning.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, wax, or oil-based polishes.
  • Place felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches.
  • Use area rugs in high-traffic zones for extra protection.
  • Shield floors from direct sunlight with curtains/blinds to reduce fading.
